Low-cost carrier Flybe is running a time-limited sale offering UK flights for as little as £23.99 one-way.

The no-frills airline has bases across the UK, offering connecting services between airports such as Belfast, Edinburgh, London Gatwick and Southampton.

Several of Flybe’s most popular European routes are also currently on sale, with discounted href="http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Faro/">flights to Faro, Alicante and Palma de Mallorca all available.

Travellers living near Exeter and Southampton airports can fly one-way to Faro for £69.99 and £74.99 respectively, while href="http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Alicante/">Alicante flights are available from Southampton for £80.99 and href="http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Majorca-Palma/">Palma de Mallorca flights are on sale at the same base for £55.99.

All discounted fares are subject to availability, and are inclusive of taxes and charges. Travellers are advised that for many of the cheapest fares bookings must be placed at least 21 days in advance.

Today is the last day of low-cost carrier Flybe’s sale, in which a selection of one-way fares for travel until 26 March next year are available for ‘free’ at just the cost of charges and taxes.

The promotion focuses on domestic UK routes; however, title="http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Paris/" href="http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Paris/" target="_self">flights to Paris Charles De Gaulle in France and Amsterdam in the Netherlands from Exeter Airport are included, as well as href="http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Dusseldorf/">flights to Dusseldorf from London Gatwick.

Taxes and charges on the eligible routes typically range from £30 to £40. We searched for flights to Paris from Exeter in mid January and found fares for departure on 14 Jan and returning 21 Jan available for ‘free’, with £38.60 of taxes and charges on departure and £29.44 for the flight back – a total of £68.40 round-trip.
