Western airlines target flights to Baghdad

Iraq is experiencing a surge in interest from global airlines that are keen to capitalise on the improving security situation.Following the collapse of troubled flag carrier Iraqi Airways, which was the subject of legal action by Kuwaiti authorities, Lufthansa announced that it will launch flights to Baghdad on 30 September 2010.
